ErgoHome is a sensible
long-term choice
Our Home has been designed expressly to reduce domestic carbon dioxide emissions. We have worked in three areas:
1) Careful material selection for quality, longevity & weight
2) Effective insulation with controlled ventilation
3) Renewable energy options built in from the start. We have "entry level" panels as shown above or more expansive arrays to take advantage two Government programmes:
A) UK FITs programme, started April 2010 paying up to £0.413 per kWh generated, for 25 years and most likely only at that generous level for installations before April 2013 when tariffs are expected to fall.
B) UK RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) a financial incentive for solar thermal panels is expected later in 2011.
Passive solar design works to maximise the energy of the sun within the building over the changing seasons.
